Come Visit Us!

Each time we gather, we commit ourselves to proclaiming Christ and Him crucified in everything we do: Sunday School, Children's Ministry, singing, expository preaching, Reformed catechism and memory verse recitation, praying, and fellowship.

We are in glad cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) on the national level, the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC) on the state level, and the Salem Association of Baptist (SAB) on the associational level.

We are Reformed Baptist, meaning that we are committed to teaching the whole counsel of the Word of God. We believe and teach that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone as revealed in the Scriptures alone for the glory of God alone. We are saved and drawn by sovereign grace (monergism), a free gift of God's love so that no one should boast. We are all sinners, but we believe that Christ has come to save sinners; therefore, we glory in the gospel week-in and week-out. For His Glory!

At MBC, you will find young and old, families and singles, military personnel based at Ft. Knox and civilians, blue-collar and white-collar, parents and grandparents, and a WHOLE HOST of children of all ages! Some people will be found wearing jeans and a t-shirt, while others wear a suit and tie; we approach the Lord's Day with reverence, but recognizing that God delights in the heart that is bent toward Him in worship.

We do offer a nursery during our morning service, but we do not offer children's church as we practice a family-integrated model of church life (which means we gladly welcome the squirming little ones)! We recommend arriving early to find a seat and get situated. We look forward to meeting YOU!

Muldraugh Youth and Missions

At MBC, we are committed to the up-and-coming generation in the Kingdom of God. Our Youth Pastor, Nathan Bohannon, is an expository preacher first-and-foremost. His passion is to see the youth grow in Christ as they learn the Scriptures, and to then be mobilized for the gospel. Our MBC Youth meet on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour at 9:30 am, year-round on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm, and for various camps and outings throughout the year.

We are also committed not only to reaching the youth but also our neighbors around the globe. MBC is involved in several local and foreign missions opportunities. Our six criteria for missions are as follows: Does it obey God? Does it proclaim the gospel? Does it teach new believers? Does it line up with biblical doctrine? Does it create partnerships and relationships with MBC? Does it incorporate the whole Body of MBC?
